Title: Starceta for improved jaws?
Post by: Jar1985 on May 06, 2015, 09:14:19 PM
Hi everyone.
I regularly look at Claiming Power's website because I'm trying to correct my jaws through tongue positioning. Anyway he has just written a post that links to this:
http://starecta.com/

This Starceta guy talks alot about the importance of the jaws for posture and it reminded me of a video for the ALF appliance where the guy who made it talks about the importance of the body posture for the health of teeth and jaws. The starceta site says this:
"Pay a lot of attention to this point. The skull lateral deviation shortened left Masseter and left temporal muscles. When a muscle is shorter is also stronger. Conversely right masseter and right temporal stretched. When a muscle is longer is also weaker.

Pay attention to this other point: when left masseter and temporal shorten move also soft parts of the face from their symmetrical position." (http://starecta.com/look-at-asymmetries)

I have noticed from this picture that my own lower jaw is off line. Can anybody tell me which side of my face is the most developed - the right or the left?

Thankyou

Strecta is worth trying before getting JS. I'm going to try it, because I'd regret not trying it if I found out about it after getting JS.

Tbh you look pretty symetrical besides the jaw. My guess is your left side is more developed. Or the right side of the pic.
