Title: Sleep Apnea/Breathing Troubles and Elevation
Post by: GJ on January 18, 2018, 06:28:20 PM
Anyone know if these problems get worse living in the altitude of Mountains, such as Colorado, etc?

I've read some articles that suggest yes, but they aren't very scientific with any methodology. Most people say they acclimate to the O2 levels at high elevation, but again, this is anecdotal.

When I stayed in the Loveland valley of CO, my eyes got black and blue the next day just from the altitude. They told me not to walk around the first day but I did. It gives you more red blood cells when you get back to sea level though.
