Hi! I recently had lower jaw surgery 1 week ago tomorrow and everything has gone pretty well so far. I just had a few questions that are kind of worrying me but i don't want to bother my surgeon. I also want to apologize if they seem like dumb ones to ask. I have one rubberband that i wear at all times but immediately after i take it out my bite feels completely different. I understand that this is the point of rubberbands, to train your bite. I just worry that it will start to go back to my old bite. Is this possible? Another issue i didn't consider before surgery is numbness. While the fact that i could never get feeling back in part of my face is scary, it's something that i can learn to live with. Im curious if anyone out there hasn't regained feeling and what that experience has been like for them. Thanks!
