I have a retrusive/recessed lower jaw/chin.Do I also have retrusive maxilla?

Overall I just think getting this done would increase confidence and make me a bit more normal overall.

I can't find an orthotropist/myofunctional therapist in my city. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia.
I'm 16 years old and I've been bullied in school since I was a child. People around me always found some words to decribe my face and those were often hurtful.
And my parents think I'm decent looking and too obsessed with my looks. They asked me to wait until I'm 21.
What would you do if you were in my position?

Eat well. Exercise. Do not smoke or do drugs.

Come back here in 5 years if still dissatisfied.

Would you say I have the potential to looksmax with weight loss and orthognathic surgery and become a 7?

You do not look like you need to lose weight.

7 is subjective.

Yeah , ultimately jaw surgery should help you cause you seem to have recession.  Tbh I am not  versed on the merits or lack thereof of juvenile bimax.

Yeah I know I'm skinny fat. Look skinny in clothes but have belly fat.
What's the trick to lose fat?

He needs to gain muscle. He's skinny fat what are you talking about? I was once too I'm changing that.

He asked about "weight loss".

Weight loss is not fat loss , genius.

OP- Yes you should work out . If  you gain muscle you will weigh more but will have less fat. Great age to start working out too because your hormones are sky high.

I think you could add definition to your face, most people of East Asian origin have a morphology that gives the appearance of being a bit "flat".
Many from that demographic have nose bridge implants and paranasal implants, I think those two procedures would really boost your face, also some form of augmentation to the brows and cheeks.

You don't have to strive to be a 7/10, as someone else said they are not the norm, just add definition to your face where it is needed, this will change how people treat you (more respect) and objectively you will become more attractive. Not a 7 out of 10 as many other things are in play to look a 7 out of 10.

Skinny fat people seldom need to "lose weight". The prescription  generally is to  gain weight or maybe stay around same weight while altering body composition through resistance training.

Anyway , this aint bodybuilding.com

OP - Bowie has given some good advice. But you are very young. Avoid forums where the concept of rating is prevalent (I do not name them in the doomed hope you are unaware of them)

You do look like a candidate for some future max fac intervention , this forum is a much better place for that kinda research.

Is the looks theory on sluthate.com legit?
Is maxilla literally everything?

Stop going to those sites if you like your sanity.

One can't even read that stuff "ironically"; it's going to get to you whether it's true or not.
