Getting upper jaw surgery XRAY attached
« on: June 22, 2017, 03:58:32 PM »
Hi,

I met with my surgeon yesterday. I thought my upper jaw development was fine because of my over bite, but apparently I pushed my front teeth outward to compensate for the natural underbite position of my jaws.

He said I have maxillary underdevelopment in both width and forward growth. He wants to widen my maxillary and advance it 5 mm or so.

My question is, will this change my facial appearance drastically ? I'm hoping my face will look wider and have more "pop" from the advancement.
