French twins have had jaw surgery (results 5 years later)
« on: September 19, 2017, 11:43:11 AM »
Pauline and Celine are twins and very nice, I've asked them questions about their operation. They both have had jaw surgery in 2012  (same surgeon, same procedure)

Pauline's video :

Celine's video :

Video of them in July:

Despite a Lefort 1, I think this is obvious that Celine have more proeminent high cheek bones than before.  In some case, it seems bones are reorganizing, following the maxillary advancement.

Do you think there is a difference between Pauline and Celine aesthetical results ?

Not sure I want to suffer through watching the videos or give them extra You Tube hits to address your question.

Maybe take a screen shot of before and after of each.

Yeah a few summary pics would be nice. I do not need to pardon their french for 12 mins.

Were they stable after 5 years? Great!

Bones reorganizing after lefort 1?

What?

I do agree some people get really good midfaces after just lefort 1s. Like I have seen a few people whose Negative orbital vectors improved from just lefort 1...or atleast seemed to , but I do not think anything is happening "after" lefort 1 , just how the operation places bones in relationship to each other.

What?

I know it's sound weird but as bone is reshaping all life long, I thought a Lefort 1 could make cheek bones more proeminent.
It's just hypothetical.
I saw on a blog a girl claiming she has more proeminent cheeks after the surgery. And I saw a difference, as I can see here with Celine.
But I didn't notice it every time and oral surgeons told me a Lefort 1 don't change anything in the cheek bone area...........

Now I think that nose shape is a big deal after surgery.
Results are uncertain.
