overcorrection
« on: January 25, 2016, 02:14:14 AM »
Since swelling is mostly gone I noticed unfortunately I have overcorrectoin after surgery and my surgeon told me we can wait 3rd month and he eventually rebreak the bone without cut (without massive surgery)

is it possible after 3 months  ?  i need about 2mm inward and 2mm back

Hi,

I had a lower jaw surgery and genioplasty to correct my overbite and small chin.He moved my lower jaw 4mm forward and one month post-op and my upper and lower teeth are edge to edge and my chin is too forward and big. Will my jaw relapse after first month or you had the same results after 6 months, namely your jaw did not relapsed at all.I do not think orthodentic treatment will correct my too forwarded big chin.my chin looks 2mm too long and 2mm too forwarded. Please let me know if you had to do revision and when did you do it?it will help a lot.
