Did you like the results of the Trans Palate Distraction and would you recommend it?

It's a good idea in theory however my surgeon was a complete clown of the highest order - we suspect that the fixed gadget was not angled correctly, causing asymmetry of the cheek bones on expansion. I was also expanded too much 

If you find a non-butchering assclown to do it, then yes, I'd recommend it.

Not really - that statement rings true for the instawhores and likewhores I associate with, but I stay away from most forms of social media for my peace of mind

Asymmetry of the cheekbones, sorry to hear that. So then, this is one expansion procedure that does effect the cheekbones. Do you know who does this procedure out of the names mentioned on here, other than MM, the surgeon everyone seems to hate?

MM is definitely one to avoid, for many many reasons.
I think it's done in the Netherlands too but that's just a vague idea I picked up somewhere so not much use really, sorry.

Several members here have had botched surgeries with him and those who consulted with him received surgery plans that are questionable at best. He also acts like a huge asshole when confronted about the bad results but the same could be said for most surgeons out there so he's hardly special in that regard.

Well if you're having any significant impaction, kiss your cheekbones goodbye, seriously.
If you are having your maxilla moved forward it will fill up your midface .
It really will depend on your measurements.

Impaction + advancement can increase cheekbones by a lot, esp if you have long face / divergent face
