Do You feel any distirbuances in the structure of the skin inside mouth  where incisions took place, 6 months postop ?

I can only speak for myself and I've had major surgery twice. The least issue I've had is with the tissue/gum in my mouth. Everything always seemed to heal perfectly. I had much more pain and problems to my mouth from braces.

The stitches dissolve in about a month.

No disturbances or anything like that, just the skin is a little different there now. Like theres tiny folds of tissue where it was stitched.  Nothing bad though.

I'm over a year post-op, and the only area that's a problem is right below the lower lip.  All the problems went away everywhere else after like 3 months.  It's very slightly tingly, but mostly feels slightly stiff, I think because of the way the gums were stitched together.  As long as I don't try to move my lower lip a lot I don't even notice it.

Kinda makes sense as there was more work done down there I guess.

So as I see its nothing major, and if for someone it will be too annoying then simply some small corrections can be done inside mouth ?

Does the sores from accidentally biting inside your lip count?

Kidding but it does happen maybe twice a month because my entire lower lip is partially numb and it's just a needless irritation. No structural or internal soft tissue issues though.

Almost 1.5 years. Partial numbness of the lips and chin is very common in lower jaw surgery with even the most skilled surgeons. However it's something you forget about and genuinely doesn't affect your day to day life in any major way. And in my case, half my lower lip and part of my chin was already partially numb from an isolated sliding genioplasty I had done six years prior so it's very likely if your doctor is good, you won't have as much numbness as me. Maybe none at all.

With all the possible complications that come with jaw surgery, if all you have post-op is some partial numbness but a stable, good result than you should count yourself lucky.

Yes if you weak up after surgery and you notice that you have saved at least 50% feeling or even better, then You have huge chance to get restored 100% function within 1 year or earlier

1, max 2 level of damage.... when 3 then for 100%  kaput
This is typical rule when it comes to PNS
