Biting lips post surgery
« on: February 02, 2015, 01:38:46 AM »
Hi all,
I had surgery over 19 months ago. I feel like the surgeon brought my upper jaw too far forward and my lower jaw not forward enough. I have to strain considerably to close my lips. It seems as if he did no impaction at all, in fact my upper jaw seems longer.
The real problem is that I constantly bite my lips when I am eating. It is extremely painful ( drawing blood) and no matter how carefully i chew, I can't avoid biting my lips (both upper and lower). Has anyone else had this problem?
