Does your face ever really feel the same again post double jaw surgery? A year later, can you still feel a difference,  even when all feeling has returned?

probably a couple of years you won't remember what your face feels like before. i've had injuries and it took a few years.

Im 7 months post op, and although I dont look too different, I dont remember my old face unless I look at photos of myself. I didnt have any huge changes,  so its not like I woke up from surgery and look really different like some patients do. I think the most noticable difference is my side profile. Thats the only part of me that looks really different, like a totally different side view of myself. Im still trying to get use to myself, but I think by a year I'll be pretty content with everything

Your both right...time heals everything. (Mostly, or a revision lol).

Its hard to imagine until you get through it and because it's such a lengthy process (2 surgeries for me) so much time to think.
