How uncommonly known mouth breathing is
« on: April 01, 2015, 12:56:31 AM »
I stumbled upon two interesting links today.

First, a clinical geneticist who implies that weak chins are a genetic trait. I don't think any of the guys in (8) are attractive but he makes a good point about the other items, many of those people are indeed attractive and many of those celebrities have deficient cheekbones and midfaces. It's an interesting read.

Second, I found this page on the Neanderthal look. As we all know now, this is due to a developmental deformity, not really genes at least the guys with weak chins. I mean, look at Sergey Brin (Google founder). Billions of dollars and do you think he realizes that he probably has sleep apnea? He can't fix his problems any better than any of us likely. I recall early Seinfeld episodes that were similar but recent pictures looks like he's fixed his appearance.
