Arch compatibility pre-surgery
« on: September 06, 2016, 06:06:32 PM »
Hey all, what are your thoughts on arch compatibility pre-surgery? I've read that some surgeons prefer the arches to co-ordinate nearly perfectly so that it acts as a kind of retainer, while other leave room for tuning post-op. The second option has the added benefit of quicker treatment due to the increased blood flow/healing in the area.

Of course there is also the surgery first approach that relies on very little decompensation, but we'll assume that's outside the norm for now.
