Is it me or does this lady's face look completely different (better) after Wilckodontics?? Her chin looks shorter and her cheekbones look better.  Is it the photos or the procedure????

The more I learn about the gamble that is jaw surgery the more afraid I become!!!   :-(

It's just the difference in the photos, I don't think there has been a difference in the things you mentioned. The biggest aesthetic change you will see is the width of both arches so you'll have a much wider smile. The rest of the differences in the structural aspects of the face are minimal to the eye.

Neat picture, thanks for sharing. Making me glad I didn't go down this route!

She got major recession on those upper cuspids. Some on a bunch of teeth actually. She had an exaggerated curve of Spee before likely from a skeletal open bite. She needed jaw surgery, hope she got it too but I doubt it. The guys I spoke to didn't seem to understand facial growth. I looked into it as a way to avoid a 3-piece. Interesting to see how much her gums have puffed up from the extra volume inside. I wonder, even though she has more bone around her teeth now, whether her odds of further periodontal problems are really lessened now.
