Step off / bump means chin bones haven't fully fused?
« on: August 16, 2016, 12:31:00 PM »
So I'm feeling a little bump / step off on the side of my chin; particularly on the right side of my chin, somewhere in between the tip of my chin and back of my jaw. It's been almost 2 years since I had my sliding genioplasty (it was a revision to get more advancement).

Is it possible the bones haven't fully healed yet? I figure any step off or bump should be gone since new bone has grown right?

Meaning, is there a chance removing plate / screws could result in loss of projection or advancement relapse?
