Zygoma/malar asymmetry
« on: September 03, 2016, 11:48:00 AM »
Will the higher lefort cuts help or worsen this? My thinking is the mobilized bone is a single piece and rotating it however still will not fix it.

Should I be opting for bone grafts or fillers and leave my bimax to fixing the occlusion only?

i have seen people with very short features have a HUGE improvement in their cheekbones with a high lefort. but for 90 percent i don't think it makes any difference.

this chick had like NO cheekbones previous to jaw surgery and she's a beauty afterwards with full high cheekbones. this is the ONLY result i've ever seen like this. if someone can explain how that happened let me know!

Hmm I was referring to asymmetry like having one side flatter then the other.

Maybe the girl had a particularly higher cut? From my consults it seems they don't want to take the cut high for fear of nerve damage. But she looks great!
