Any type of back of the jaw angle oesteotomy?

I know due to a nerve they cant do a drop down to the jaw angle but it there any type of osteotomy that can flare out and  back the jaw angles?

no ramus lengthening procedures that are widely practiced afaik, I looked it up once and those procedures are reserved for cranial deformities

only mandible implants...in some cases rotation has achieved a wide-jaw look but it is rare.

HA paste as well. they can also contour the bone itself.

there are ramus ost. but not many, have found two papers on it, problem is structural integrity. there is chin wing but that will not lengthen your ramus.


implants are much easier and therefore prevalent.
