Lefort 1? And several questions
« on: November 29, 2016, 05:14:28 AM »
So hey, It's my first post on this board and I have some questions, would be great If you could help me as I am kinda desperate

First things first, I think i have a really really bad bone ressecion (whatever it is spelt). I basically have no midface, my chin is very recessed and even my maxilla is far behind my brow bone. I am 19 and that gives me a babyface and it looks really s**tty, the scleral show too. Also I have assymetry. I guess most of you know the forums like lookism.net and sluthate.net and while you probably should not take all of that so seriously I have read some posts that made me wonder about some things so here are my questions:

1. Is asymmetry fixable? my right side is better developed than my left side (cheekbones, forehead (why lol) and maxilla swings to the right, also eyes are asymmetric)
2. I live in Germany. who are good surgeons for max fac, how are the costs and what are the steps when consulting a surgeon?
3. I read that doing a LF1 will cut the VNO organ and that will make you unable to smell pheromones. Do you know anything about that?
4. I think I have sleep apnea and I sometimes snort. Also I have the mouthbreather phenotype of narrow face and s**t. But I have nicely set eyes and nice brows and so on and I looked much better as a child so I just want to have hope

Ok, thats it, I hope you can help me <3

Most of that can't be fixed, sorry :( Asymmetry can be addressed on the lower 3rd. You should be able to smell fine after LF1, better even if you can nose breath. Sleep apnea should be addressed at the same time. Know where you are developmentally in life, hard to see now but you and how you think will be totally different in a decade and again in another decade. Try not to overthink things, fix your functional problems and make the best of what you got. For guys, life tends to get a lot easier dating wise mid-to-late 20s and onwards.

Meh, thanks for the reply, I shouldve stated that I might have like overexaggerated but I would like to have an answer to my 2nd question as I really dont have any clue on where to look for surgeons. And otherwise I wonder about what exactly cant be fixed? Also i think how u smell pheromones has nothing to do with the nose so I am not fully satisfyied with your answer sorry
