left/right: assymetrical zygomas
« on: March 17, 2017, 08:40:39 AM »
Good morning guys, it's long time I didn't come to this forum. In the meantime I had 3 NCR (endonasal baloon) treatments and I'm planning to start a myofunctional therapy (face and teeth focused but all natural).
I have a question for you.. how to fix an asymmetry where the left zygoma is flatter than the right zygoma? I have functional TMJ problems (in flatter part) + sleep, but the esthetic is also involved.
Every time I take a picture of my right side I look good and when I do it with the left side the anomaly is quite obvious. Basically my midface is tilted to the left.
PS is it possible that an ear infection can cause the maxilla bones to have shifted? cause my left part muscles are loose compared to the right part and my ear hurts often.

Is it possible to treat it? How? Shall I go for zygomatix osteotomy? or some kind of lefort to one side I don't know.
Do you think a left 3 will help? If it helps I upload pictures.
