Uglier after double jaw surgery (17y/o girl)

Hei! I am a 17 y/o girl who had double jaw surgery 6 months ago.I moved lower jaw forward and upper jaw up. I had overbite, but it wasn't that bad.​ I was very very happy with my face in front. But it is much uglier after the surgery. Of course my profile is prettier, but I feel like I have ruined my front face.

When I look at before/after pictures, the biggest change is the nose. It's wider and little bit upturned. It used to be very very small and straight. My nose was the thing I liked the most about myself. I want to get a nose job, but I am afraid the result will be bad just like my jaw surgery. I want it to be exactly like before, I don't want any more surprises. I mean, have a nose job and end up with an uglier nose than the ugly nose I have now. And my face used to be rounder, and now it's wide and long. I hope there is still some swelling left (but most of it is gone after 6 months) because the lower half of my face is big, but I think it's because of different face shape...

I really regret jaw surgery!! Can anyone give me advice about what I can do ? Can the surgeons operate my nose and get it back exactly as it was?

Sorry I don't think it's likely that a rhinoplasty will give you the same nose that nature did, the only option would be to move the jaws back, got to weigh up which you like more, the old nose or the new jaw position.

Oh no.. But if I show the surgeon before pictures and ask if they can operate it like that, can it be similar if not 100% the same?

i disagree.  One thing you could have done before hand is told your surgeon you didnt want your nose to change, and he would have used an "alar stitch" or "alar clinch" technique which stops the nostrils from expanding as much from the maxillary advancement.  Consult with some plastic surgeons who specialize in cosmetic rhinoplasty and im sure they can fix your issue.  Ive seen many great results from rhinoplasties conducted after jaw surgery.  dont worry youl be fine.

Whatever surgeons say should be taken with a huge grain of salt. I think nose changes are very hard to control. The best way to avoid them is to not over advance the maxilla in the first place and be prepared to have alar reduction after jaw surgery. One big name rhino specialist told me that he's never seen alar cinches work (take this with a grain of salt as well).
