Cephs - lip posture?
« on: July 04, 2018, 07:04:16 PM »
I have 2 cephs that were taken during the same month but they actually look different. In one, my lips are relaxed (no strain) - in the other I have them closed fully (with some strain) and so my upper lip area looks more vertical and longer.

Which is the "correct" lip posture when having cephs done?
Should you be showing strain? Or would this be misleading when it comes to soft/hard tissue relationships?

I would think relaxed is best.

If they allow multiple cephs to be sent, I would just send BOTH with short CAPTIONS of; before/after 'with lips relaxed', 'with biting down and some lip strain'.

Please. No PMs for private advice. Board issues only.

Thanks Kavan. I'll caption them.
