Lumpy jaws
« on: July 12, 2018, 01:29:06 PM »
My mandible feels and looks super lumpy where the breaks are. Looking at the post-surgical 3D imaging it looks they they were pretty messy breaks (although I don't really have anything to compare it to). My surgeon says my muscles will "eventually smooth that out". Does that sound reasonable or like a bunch of BS?

Can you post the 3D image?
Millimeters are miles on the face.

So this isn't really a great picture of it.. I can post more from a side-view later on when I have the comp with a disc drive. The right side is the one that seems to be the worst.

I don't see how muscles will make that better since the bone is what's protruding a bit.
Doesn't look too bad to me, but that image isn't great. An x-ray or CBCT would be better.
