I have two possible plans for insurance for 2019... a ''green plan'', and a ''purple plan''. I'm not very well versed on this kind of stuff, and need to choose soon. I recently had a jaw surgery consultation OUT OF NETWORK with a doctor I would really like to perform the surgery (moving both jaws), and am wondering which of these two plans I should choose.
Green Plan: Purple Plan:
$ per pay period: $15 $ per pay period: $56
Overall Deductible Out of Network: $5,000 Overall Deductible Out of Network: $2,700
Out of Pocket Limit Out of Network: $15,000 Out of Pocket Limit Out of Network: $7,800
Premiums, preauthorization penalty amounts, balance billing charges are not included in this out of pocket limit. Any ideas!? Should I email my surgeon?
