Hi, I had 2 sliding genioplasty procedures. My last one was in 2014, then in 2017 my surgeon attempted to remove the plate and screws but was unable to do so as there was bone that had grown over the plates and screws. He was only able to remove some of the screws. I am now experiencing pain in my chin and am worried it is caused by the plate and screws. Does anyone have any good doctor recommendations of surgeons who is great at removing plates and screws?
