Mouthbreathing, tongue function / Face development
« on: July 30, 2020, 01:43:55 AM »
So there is a lot of theory about mouthbreathing and getting FROM THAT a narrow face. But are there enough reliable studies out there with some real measurment and not some unreliable before/after pictures or some unrealiable personal experience? Are there any animal testing?

I found once a study with monkeys, but it was just one study and can't remember where I did find it. I would be interested if somebody has here some real knowledge about this topic.

Lot's of information/papers on that topic including some written way before the advent of the internet. All you have to do is research 'adenoid facies'.
Please. No PMs for private advice. Board issues only.

So I found much more studies when I searched up for "adenoid faces". If I am not mistaken, there is not really a clear correlation between facial shape and habit how you breath. So the genes still decide how you will look like.
