Uncomfortable tightness/popping in jaw

I don't know if it's my overreactive imagination from discovering everything or if it's very real, but occasionally I get a real lingering tightness in the left side of my jaw near the back, like it pops out of place almost when I open my mouth. It's more uncomfortable than painful and is fleeting, but does anyone else experience this?

I just pray this isn't the start of TMJ or something

My right TMJ makes a loud crack when I open it occasionally. Most of the time it is just quiet "crackling" when I open and close my mouth.

Can't wait to get this sorted.

This has since long gone away.

I noticed it started when I was under-eating and went away when I started eating more fully, so there's probably something in that. It gave me a good scare, however briefly.
