Local anaesthesia for facial implant surgery?

I have seen a facelift surgeon say that she only preforms the surgery under local anaesthesia. If it is possible to have a facelift with local, then why not facial implants?

It is possible, but there's too much pulling, blood and cutting etc. I once asked this but it's not recomandable. There might be other reasons not to do it. And tbh, the moment before you fall asleep is a great moment. I love it. You should just embrace it.

You like the moment before going to sleep? I HATE it. You’re not even sleeping, you are in a medically induced coma, so no dreaming or anything. I’m terrified of having general anaesthesia again. I have pleaded with Yaremchuk’s secretary to let me have the surgery under local. Hope he agrees.
