Four years ago, I had just lower jaw surgery for a class iii malocclusion (underbite with a slight cross bite). This is something I have felt unsure about for years, but does my maxilla appear to look recessed? In these pictures it doesn’t look like I have much forward growth, but my surgeon claimed that my upper jaw was normally projected. I’m not sure what to think, but I do want to know if it is recessed as I think that really could explain my flat profile.
