Would I benefit

How bad is the recession

Would I benefit aesthetically

I need this surgery for sleep apnea but don't want to look worse because I look really great with a beard. Long narrow face clean shaven but square with beard, can show pics if needed but would prefer to avoid doing so.

Planning to go with alfaro BTW.

Doesn't look bad at all.

Not seeing much room for CCW rotation. Did they give you a plan? Genio might be the option if your apnea isn't too bad. Genio can help a little with the airway if the cut includes the genioglossal tubercle on the advancing segment. Might be worth seeing if that's an option.

Short of that you might be looking at lower premolar extractions to get a discrepancy for a linear advancement.
Millimeters are miles on the face.

I have RERA count of 30 per hr so it's pretty bad.

I don't understand, if my recession is not bad, why is my lower third so bad? It is so narrow and my chin is tiny. I also have a weird bump on my chin (is that overactivation of mentalis muscle?) that is visible when I am lean. I have not really seen my lower third for many years but that's how it looked when I was 18,19.
