As some of you may know I had a revision about 6 weeks ago. My question is that I first noticed some "TMJ clicking" while talking. I have no idea if this is painful since I'm limiting myself in joint use. Maybe once my muscles regain strength this will improve. So does anyone know if this bad???
The reason I'm concerned is because after my first surgery my condyles rotated very forward since my original surgeon enjoys skipping mandibular rigid fixation as documented here: https://jawsurgeryatnyp.wordpress.com/records/
I will ask my surgeon in three weeks during my last appointment, and also my orthodontist on Thursday.
The best way to record this sound is to place a phone mic directly near my joint then blow air out and immediately after I'm done blowing you hear the click.
WARNING for headphone users- audio may be loud.
File blowing_click1.m4a is here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lfl06bb0hxzmbo5/AAC6Erlx7vn_dKqPWzQ2mXHSa?dl=0
Thanks for your help!

Well it went away, mostly, as the muscles have healed. Shouldn't have panicked.
I guess the final TMJ confirmation will come when I'm finally chewing in addition to talking normally throughout the day....
