I had my double jaw surgery after a year of braces. I went into cardiac arrest during surgery and a code blue was called. I Woke up in the ICU (REALLY RARE). I I have to go back to basically do what I did the first time around. Has anyone gone through this?!

WTF that's crazy. Are you alright now? Did you have pre-existing heart problems?

Socks,
The curiosity level is rising.
If it is comfortable for you, can you describe what determination was made as to why you coded ? If you are not comfortable with sharing that information, that is understandable. But your adverse experience highlights a set of risks that almost all of us probably under-appreciate.
Glad it worked out well for you !
I am aware of a routine plastic surgery (less invasive than your double jaw surgery) in an office surgery suite a couple of years ago - - that resulted in a code and ultimately, a week later, death of a patient.
