Title: Maxilliomandibular EXPANSION?!
Post by: Lefortitude on July 01, 2017, 07:19:03 PM
Was turned onto Dr. Kasey Li practicing oral surgery specializing in sleep apnea out of Palo Alto, and noticed on his website a section where he uses osteotomy and distraction to widen the maxillary mandibular complex.  braces are used to correct the occlusion post op.

" There is a very slight change in facial appearance, but this is often a favorable change. "
