Title: CCW vs clockwise rotation: upper lip fullness?
Post by: jawregret on January 25, 2017, 07:37:20 AM
I have a question I'm not sure how to phrase in a way that makes sense.

Assuming there's no other forward movement and just the rotation...

Does CCW (through impaction) or clockwise rotation (through downgrafting I guess) create more fullness in the upper lip/philtrum area?

CW rotation makes the teeth more vertical, and the nasal base more forward. So this makes the lip more vertical and inverted - fuller philtrum, less vermilion. CCW does the opposite.

Well that's the theory.

My upper lip and philtrum area seem much more full and forward following CCW rotation (impaction). I'm not sure why.
