So my surgeon said my lower jaw would be advanced 7mm to fix my overbite. Does a 7mm advancement justify jaw surgery?
-
its normal advancement.

Only you can make that choice. If it affects your every day function and bothers you than I'd deem it worth it.

0,5to 11mm u can advance ur lower jaw without big risk. if u need 0,7 and u get 0,8 u get underbite. If u want more advancement tell ur surgeon advance ur both jaws.

Absolutely! Protect your joints, prevent sleep apnea, reduce tooth wear, chew your food better, look better. That's not even a large advancement really. It's a win-win-win.

Wow, so at what mm advancement, molestrip, is it not worth surgery at?
