Does anyone have any experience of switching orthodontists?
I'm based in the UK but was using an ortho known to my surgeon abroad. I've since decided not to use the surgeon, he's an arsehole, so there's no point on my continuing to fly back and forth every month for adjustments.
I've recently paid for my last quarter of treatment, would I be eligible to get this refunded I wonder as the work won't have been completed?
Are orthos a bit sniffy about taking over other cases?
Any advice will be gratefully received :)

I don't really know much about changing orthodontists, but if you're based in Manchester, there is a dental/orthodontal clinic just off King Street - it was called Mall Dental (but has just changed its name) - which offers free consultations with an ortho who does jaw surgery work for NHS patients. I suppose you could find out whether they would take you on.

Cheers for that, I'll definitely check them out!
