Anyone with depression--due to their appearance--ever disclosed that information to the surgeon (whether it was during a consultation or before undergoing the surgery)?

You probably should say something to the surgeon, or at least seek help to make sure you aren't looking to surgery when it isn't the answer to your problems.

My surgeon just knows I am self conscious about my lip incompetence,  but probably doesnt know how much I hate it.  He does know that is the main reason for my surgery though.
