So, my supplements include liquid cal/mag, zinc/copper, b6, probiotoic, powder vitamin C, and im probably going to get some liquid k2 also. Oh and im going to make a bunch of broth and probably just freeze it.
I got some like half cusion chair for my bed to help me sleep upright a little more and Ill just stack pillows behind it. Getting a humidifier and also a water filter to take chloride and fluoride out of my tap water.
I have entertainment and will be going to school around 3 weeks post op so that should give me a little something else to do and get me outside more.
I still need to write down a lot of recipes for soup and other liquid recipes.
Is there any type of good oil I can use for soft facial massages? Just to get the blood flowing around my face and help the swelling go away a little quicker.
Anymore vitamins I should get? Anything special thatll help out? Oh and Ill get a baby toothbrush and all that good stuff

A spray bottle for your nose. You can buy saline sprays but they're kindof overpriced.
One of those airline head cushion thingies
Gelatin - eg. http://greatlakesgelatin.com/storefront/consumer/beef-gelatin.html
Omega 3
Arnica
Panadol
Throat sweets
Wipes
Those packs of gel you put in the freezer
Maybe a hot water bottle. Sometimes you can come round from a GA very cold and shivery
Oil - almond oil

I was told to avoid fish oil for the first couple weeks post op because it can thin the blood and cause more bleeding.

I'd just thought I post this on here as a very important sidenote for both you nrelax and the rest of the forum. I would follow the advise that has been previously posted on another thread and avoid lifting heavy weights post surgery. I'm a couple of months post-op and have been going to the gym and I can feel my jaw clench hard when I exert myself, and reckon that if I would have gone gym sooner, it could have affected the result of the surgery. It's not something you notice until you have had jaw surgery and, while I think it can be managed, I'd be very careful with it in the same way that you'd be careful with your post-op chewing.

When do you think ita fine to start body weight exercises? I just started seeing a posture expert/personal trainer and now I cant do any type of exercises for a month, which is going to blow. Do you think after a month I'll be able to do things like glute bridges and other lighter glute exercises like that? Or is a month too soon. Ita going to really suck having to deal with my damn chronic pain and know I cant do any of my exercises to help relieve the pain.

As with anything, it's a question of degree. I'd just ease yourself in, and not do anything too intense. How long before you can do glute exercises? I honestly don't know.

When were you able to start doing light exercise?
