Title: Chin shield vs. chin wing?

Are these the same thing? See attached pdf to this post. Main author is Triaca.

I asked him about this during consult. He said Chin Wing pretty much replaced it. He just does chin wing and chin visor which addresses lip incompetence and sublabial region.

This would only be worth pursuing if one was unable to get a chin wing due to position of the nerves.

I thought genioplasties weren't much good for lip incompetence?

This isn't a genioplasty. In fact the article even states it can improve lip incompetence....
