I am currently waiting for a standard lefort 1 and Bsso.
My question to you is whether you think I should/could have my midface worked on as well.
I'm not a syndrome patient but my midface is recessed in my opinion, just want to know what others think.

Hey kyra
Woops yeah I meant hypo. I dunno my 3/4view I have no cheekbone forward growth, no surgeon would probably do a quad lefort1 or lf3 so I guess there's no point thinking about it.
Hopefully moving my maxilla forward will harden up my soft baby cheeks a little.

Men don't need forward projecting malars, nor is it particularly common. It's more about facial width.
If you do want you can get a malar osteotomy as a means of improving the midface and orbital vector.

I agree. You look perfectly fine to me. I don't know why any man would want more forward projection.
In any case, do the le fort 1 and bsso, and then evaluate. Do not take any more risk than necessary all at once.
I had bsso and that turned out horribly. So, focus on having the right plan and the right surgeon now. Do not worry about your mid-face as it looks perfectly fine on that picture.
I see that you are from Australia. Prof Heggie has a very good reputation around and he does zygomatic osteotomies if you want a second opinion on this.
