Title: Cheekbone osteotomy in Japan?
Post by: Rico on October 24, 2014, 08:10:34 PM
In Japan there is a lot of such surgical procedures

Since I would like to do such procedure, perhaps more safe is to go there ?
Do You know any well known clinic in japan ? Good doctors? perhaps some of them work in Europe ?

Their work would involve primarily reducing the malars, not augmenting them.

I did not mean augumenting, but osteotomy

Augumenting is without osteotomy :)

to reduce you have to cut  the bone = osteotomy
When bone is cut you can do with it what you want - decrease, increase
However my case require also maxilla osteotomy

Japan is well known from very good innovative techniques
This is why I'm thinkig about it

The v-line reduction osteotomy is a Korean invention, iirc. Perhaps you mean there?

You could try emailing Dr. Park at ID Clinic.

Yeah, osteotomy just means cutting of the bone.
