Title: Using Mechanical Turk to get feedback on surgery
Post by: molestrip on November 24, 2014, 12:02:40 PM
Just a thought, I've been using Mechanical Turk to gather opinions. Some people have a strong sense of what would make them look good. For others, it's helpful to solicit the opinions of others. I'm one of those. I asked these questions: age, sex, rating (1-10), explanation. You aim for $6/hr+ so each opinion costs 15-25 cents. You can get some of that here too but it's not as dependable or numerous. Really interesting to see what total strangers think. Plus, this way you get a lot more privacy verse, say, RealSelf since only a handful of people are shown the images. Just wanted to throw that out there in case it helps others.
