Title: How common are CCW and LeFort 3-piece operations?
Post by: molestrip on January 31, 2015, 09:47:18 PM
My surgeon thinks he can do a CCW 3-piece LeFort operation. He's done about 1000 cases total in his career (he's 50). I'm wondering, how common is it for surgeons to do both of these operations? Is this something that requires a wold class specialist or are most experienced surgeons going to be roughly the same here?

Le Fort with rotation should be standard fare I expect.

Le Fort segmentation is probably the same, but there are loads of different ways of doing it. Some with extractions, some without. Where do you want the segmentation cuts to be made?
