Title: got my wisdom teeth removed

I got both of my lower wisdom teeth removed and its been 4 days. I've been on a soft food diet and I seriously f**kin hate it. My lower gums are also swollen atm. How long will it take till I can eat solid foods and chew with my back teeth without having to worry about the sockets?

Why did you get both removed at once? I did one first and then the other side a couple of weeks later(both on the lower jaw). Atleast you can chew on the other side. This must suck for you.

I wanted it done and over with cos I had 2 weeks off uni at the time, it was a f**ked up time for me but atleast its done. I have my consultation with the surgeon next Wednesday!
