Title: How many days did you have assistance/nursing after getting out of the hospital?

Has anyone gotten by without assistance from a nurse or family member after getting out of the hospital? Dr. Gunson is requiring that I have at least 2 days with someone staying by my side, especially at night, to care for me.

It's pretty common to leave the hospital after one night and then be on your own but I don't know what kind of surgery you're having so you really need to ask your surgeon about it.

I stayed in the hospital for a whole week after surgery, and I can recommend it, if you can afford it. Daily check-up by the surgeon can really ease your mind. Oh, and hot nurses also help :o)

"hot nurses" :)   unfortunately - rare
