Title: Anyone else have trouble biting cheeks?
Post by: molestrip on September 07, 2015, 03:55:10 PM
Getting used to my mouth without wisdom teeth, I bit my cheeks today and noticed that it's easier now to do that since my wisdom teeth aren't hold that tissue out of the way anymore. It occurs to me that I have some scars already from it previously happening and I started to wonder why. This is a problem with the occlusion, right? Seems like if my maxilla were wider then the cheek tissue would be better supported and it'd be keeping the cheek tissue out of the biting plane. Am I on to something?

I did that a lot when I had my braces on. I even got a cut so deep once that I almost had to go to the emergency room with it.
