Title: Can I get tooth implants before double jaw surgery?

Hello all,

I'm anticipating the possibility of getting double jaw surgery. However, I need lateral incisor implants (they are congenitally missing). Is it possible to get these during the time between finishing pre-surgical orthodontics and the jaw surgery itself?

Check with your surgeon and orthodontist just to make sure.

I was told no by ortho doc because it is fused in bone and will not be able to manipulate the tooth/teeth after implant. I need 2. Therefor with 2 missing teeth visible and gap after SARPE surgery my mouth looks like I don't take care of my teeth.
