Title: Recovery Concern
Post by: basmoth on March 05, 2016, 08:38:17 PM
Hi

I had my jaw surgery 18 days ago, and I've been sleeping upright since then. Anyway, I think I slept on my side last night (at least my head was fully turned). I know this sounds extremely paranoid, but I'm worried that doing so might have applied too much pressure on one side.  Sorry for this trouble, but I'm just curious as to what you more knowledgeable folk think.

Thank you!

I had bi max surgery back in August and had this concern as well.  As I was told then, those titanium plates are pretty strong so as long as you weren't chewing nails or being socked in the face, you'll be fine.
