Title: Cost of Orthodontics

For those of you in the US who've recently begun wearing braces, how much did you pay?  I've been quoted $6613 for an estimated 18 month treatment.  Trying to gauge this relative to others.  Thanks!

Ranges anywhere from 4-7k, usually around 5. I'd try to bump it down if possible.

Yeah I was thinking the same.  And this price is after a 15% discount.  Seems kind of spendy!
