Title: Is a deep bite corrected by jaw surgery?
Post by: Tumtum9646 on May 29, 2016, 10:33:00 PM
I previously consulted with a surgeon regarding my overbite and he said my lower jaw would be advanced about 7mm. I'm assuming my deep bite will also be corrected along with my overbite no? I had no idea what a deep bite was until recently so I never brought it up to the surgeon.

My deep bite was corrected by my braces. The deep bite will come back if the overbite isn't corrected. Having the surgery prevents the deep bite from returning.
