Title: Does this look like jaw surgery or genioplasty to you??
Post by: hmatt330 on August 24, 2016, 08:01:19 PM
I searched and it came up as one of the first results for genioplasty, but it looks more like jaw surgery to me. what do you think?

IN fact, this whole gallery looks kind of sketchy: http://www.facecenterla.com/photos/genioplasty.html

I am not an expert (or even far in the learning curve) but it looks like jaw surgery to me, possibly with sliding genioplasty included. The lower jaw looks more forward. Look at the lips. A sliding genioplasty is moving the tip of the chin bone forward and does not include cutting the lower jaw and moving it forward.

that looks more like a very radical jaw surgery, not sure if it would be achievable.
